Each Monday we post a short passage of scripture with questions to help you start the week off well.
“The wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the lion and the fattened calf together; and a little child shall lead them.”
(Isaiah 11:6)
Our theme for this month is “Lion and the Lamb,’ since March comes in like one and goes out as the other. This verse is a prophecy from Isaiah. He is describing what the world would be like when the world is fully redeemed by a Savior. The little child is a prophecy about Jesus as the Messiah.
Consider the passage and think about these questions as you start your day.
- What does it mean that these animals are lying down together?
- Who is the little child that will make all that happen?
